E- Synth & Orbit/Phatt Sessions ROM Upgrades

Overview All Emulator IV and Ultra samplers can make use of the E-Synth or Orbit/Phatt 16 MB ROM boards (via a 72 pin SIMM socket on the motherboard). Due to the different hardware configurations of E4 and Ultra ranges, there are different part numbers for each product. The E-Synth ROM was announced May 1997.

Features
   -  16 MB of ROM samples, with over 700 new wave forms
   -  256 factory presets which are user editable
   -  An EOS preset editor for the Mac or PC is included
   -  EOS Version 3.2 software was included for initial shipments
   -  Presets can be edited and stored in memory or floppy disk

Compatibility
The RRP of the ROM's is $295 - 495, but you can get them far cheaper than this. The E4 keyboard has to have them installed at a service centre or the E-mu Systems factory. Every other E4 or Ultra can have them fitted by the user.
