Analog Metropolis Synthesizer Modules

Overview I design and build analog and digital synthesizer modules for my own small studio using both old and new designs. Some of the modules are close replicas of classic designs from 25 years ago, others have new digital features such as progammability and patch storage, and there are entirely new modules too. The range will grow over the next few years as I design and develop more exciting ideas.

The modules are based on new PCB's which I have designed using professional CAD software. The PCB's are then manufactured by European based PCB companies, and are available for customers to buy. I also make completed modules for customer indifferent formats.

Here is a list of what's in production:

  • ARP - replicas of the classic 2600, Odyssey, 2500 analog cicruits
  • E-mu Systems - replicas of the Eľ Systems Analog Modular Synthesizer
  • SCI+Oberheim - modules from Dave and Tom - usually CEM based
  • Utility - A range of small utility modules (PSU, switch units)

Use the side navigation panel to find the module you want.

Research and Development Back in the R&D labs I am working on a variety of new modules, and around 10 of these make production each year. Production availability dates cannot be set, but if you are interested in buying a particular module (completed or as a PCB) then drop me an email. I usually prioritise my workload to deliver customer demands first. Have a look at the R&D pages, and don't foregt to email me with your feedback, requirements and ideas.
