Overview I have written a number of articles on analog synthesizers and sequencers which are either online as web pages or available as PDF downloads. Enjoy !

ARP 1047

The ARP 2500 Modular Synthesizer
The spectacular success of the Moog Modular in 1968, prompted some new entrants into the analog market. In 1970 Alan Pearlman set up Tonus and launched the ARP 2500 Modular Synthesier with stable VCO's, a big improvement over Moog designs.

ARP Odyssey

ARP - Voltage Controlled Filters
Alan Pearlman and his team of engineers created some amazing filters, from the ARP 1047 Multimode Resonantor to the 24dB LPF Odyssey Mark 3 filter. Check out how these filters work and build one from the project notes.

ARP Quadra

ARP QUADRA
One of the most unusual synthesisers ever made, the ARP Quadra remains an engima. Four synthesizers melded into one, with a crazy patching system and just 16 memories. The Quadra is poor design at its best, with a gem of a Phase Shifter you can build.   read more »
