AM0903 Module - Oakley Audio Mixer

Overview This module is a standard Oakley Audio Mixer and Output Stage module. This was one of the first modules to be built, so that I could listen to sounds! The module was commissioned on 17th Augist 2003.

Circuit The Oakley design is a four input high quality audio mixer with gain controls on each input. The module also has an output stage with a balanced monophonic output, and some cool LED's to show amplitude and overload.

Build The standard Oakley PCB was easy to put together and it was mounted on to the front panel using the usual ECO solder pot brackets, spaced at 41 mm (very close to the 1.625" MOTM standard that Tony uses). The PCB is supported by the left hand column of pots.

Panel The front panel  is a standard AM design, 90mm wide and 4U high, with black lettering. Controls knobs are standard E
µ Modular designs.

This module is standard, the only change is that the output is on an XLR socket mounted in the rear of my Modular System cabinet. The overload LED is red, and the amplitude LED is blue.
